17th, 18th and 19th Century British Plays at the North Jersey History and Genealogy Center, 1675-1807.
A collection of 43 plays written between the years of 1675 and 1807, the genres include drama, satire, comedy, romance and a musical play. Written during the Restoration and Georgian time periods, the collection includes the works of 35 playwrights, three of whom were women.

Founded in 1872 to provide impoverished and homebound women with meaningful work, the Society employed numerous Morristown residents over its 100 year history. It’s long partnership with Morristown Memorial Hospital provided upwards of ten thousand articles of sewn hospital sheets, bandages, and medical supplies per year.
