Loyalty

Loyalty
This debut novel introduces us to a female private investigator, Josefina (Fina) Ludlow. We will probably meet Fina again in the next novel by Ingrid Thoft, and that is not a bad thing. The book starts out with a dramatic maybe-murder, and then takes its time, first figuring out who was killed and then getting to the why and by whom. In the meantime, we watch as Fina has to figure out where her loyalties lie. Her family should come first-but that only complicates things as you will soon see as your read this novel. Judy was born 2 years after the plane crash, and after several mid-life crises, decides to research the crash and see if she can also figure out just what happened to her family –what were they like before the crash? She builds suspense by flashing back and forth in the story, while she tells us moment by moment what is going on as the plane which fell from the sky moves nearer and nearer to her family. Some family secrets emerge, which shed even more light on her life. Judy discovers that her family, like everyone’s family, is full of complications. Check Our Catalog
