"In Conversation" a literary evening with Julie Maloney and Tina Kelley

Tuesday May 1, 2018
7:00 PM
Join us for an evening of lively literary conversation when one local author interviews another! We are pleased to have Morristown native poet and journalist Tina Kelley talk to local novelist and poet Julie Maloney all about her new novel A Matter of Chance, the story of the life of a mother as she spends years searching for her kidnapped daughter. NY Times bestselling author Christina Baker Kline has called A Matter of Chance "beautiful and sensitive...effortlessly readable."

About our presenters:
Morristown author Tina Kelley is a Pulitzer-prize winning journalist who reported for the NY Times for ten years and has co-written the national bestselling non-fiction book Almost Home: Helping kids move from homelessness to hope.  She is also an award-winning poet who has published 3 books of poems. Author Julie Maloney is a Newark, NJ native and the founder of WOMEN READING ALOUD a non-profit dedicated to promoting women writers.  She has received a National Endowment for the Arts Award where she worked as an Artist in the Schools and conducts writing workshops and retreats throughout the year.  She has also published a book of poems, Private Landscape, and leads the "Tea & Conversation"  author series at the Bernardsville Public Library.
