North Jersey Sewing Circle: Upcycling/Refashioning
The first half of the program will be a show-and-tell where Pam will share with you some of her projects, thought processes, and inspirations. Then we will take a critical view of clothing that will lend itself to refashioning and when to walk away.
Finally, we will embark on a small project to get your feet wet.
Please bring either a sweater to make fingerless gloves, mittens and a hat or a too small or too large shirt that we can re-make into something you would be proud to wear.
The North Jersey Sewing Circle meets regularly to share projects, information, and ideas. Swap fabric and patterns, learn new skills, and sew with others. We feature speakers, workshops, and demos. All skill levels are welcome - only enthusiasm is required.
This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Library.
