Be a Best Friend To Man's Best

Be a Best Friend to Man's Best Friend! Things to Consider When you are Thinking About Getting a Dog

Wednesday November 6, 2013
7:00 PM
Are you considering getting a dog? Have you already decided to get one but have questions about what kind to get? Before you go the shelter or call a breeder, attend this free educational seminar with Gail Freilich of Plenty of Paws Pet Selection Consulting.

Dog selection consultant Gail Freilich will discuss the things to consider & the dos and don’ts of getting a dog.

All too often people select their pooch simply based on his/her looks or availability. They don’t stop to consider whether the dog has the proper temperament for them. This frequently leads to future behavioral problems because the dog’s inherent needs are not satisfied. Mounting frustration and disappointment on the part of the owners ultimately results in the dog being given away. Gail’s presentation will provide you with the information and tools to find a dog that is properly suited to you, your family and your lifestyle.

Refreshments will be served (but not for canines—ask them to stay at home). This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Morristown & Morris Township Library.
