Russian Films: Mermaid

Please join us for the second of three Russian Films in our third annual Russian Film Series. Tonight's film, Mermaid from 2007, is a whimsical drama about a green-haired girl whose family is forced to move from their rural home to Moscow.

Once there, the quirky introverted girl comes of age while clashing with the trappings of the big city. Screened at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. In Russian with English subtitles.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM and each film will start at 6:45 PM. Beverages and light refreshments will be served.
