4th through 6th Grade Book Club

Come join us as we discuss The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein. Aldwyn, a starving alley cat, in his attempts to escape a bounty hunter, becomes the impostor familiar of a boy in training wizard. When the boy and two others are kidnapped, Aldwyn joins the other familiars as they set out to rescue their loyals. Copies of the book are available in the children's room for you to borrow and read before coming to this event.

Computer Savvy Seniors

This beginners program is for seniors with little or no experience using computers. The seven week series will begin with learning mouse skills and will include instruction in windows management, Word, the keyboard, the internet, and email. The final session will be an open lab to review all the previous classes. This program is designed with beginners in mind and will include lots of review.
