Foreign Cinema Series: The Second Mother (Brazil, 2015; R)
The library is pleased to announce the fall half of our 2017 “Foreign Film Series,” an expansion of our popular bi-annual Latino Film Series, launched in the fall of 2015. The series features eight entertaining and thought-provoking foreign films from Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Tonight's feature: The Second Mother, a highly acclaimed comedy-drama from Brazil and the winner of 28 awards, including the Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize.

All movies are subtitled in English. Light refreshments will be served.
