About the Croy Media Center
The Croy Media Center has Audiobooks, Playaways, Music CD's, an extensive DVD Collection and a growing selection of Blu-ray Discs. We also have current and archived magazines and newspapers, many of which are available online. Please stop by anytime to browse and check out titles from our large collection.
Downloadable Audio and eBooks
The library subscribes to Digital Library NJ a service that allows patrons free downloads of Audio and eBooks to their own devices. For many devices you will need to load Digital Library NJ's software on your computer to use this service. Our eBook collection features many bestselling fiction and non-fiction titles. Books can be downloaded to a variety of devices. In addition to titles owned jointly in Morris County, the library subscribes to additional titles available only to Morristown & Morris Township Llibrary card holders. Older Magazines
The library has a unique collection of 19th and early 20th century bound periodicals including such classics as: Life, Ladies Home Journal, The Saturday Evening Post, Scientific American, Country Life in America, Illustrated London News, International Studio Life, Fortune, and Scientific American. These old magazines are great fun for browsing, and for some of us, reminiscing.
Film Festivals
Several times a year the library offers special theme based Film Festivals. Usually lasting 4-6 weeks, we screen films chosen and introduced by the Head of our Media Department. Past festivals have included films about food, authors, music and espionage. Please check our events page to see if any programs are scheduled.
