Review: OCD, the Dude, and Me by Lauren Roedy Vaughn

Haiku review:

Danielle's O.C.D.
makes her life far from perfect.
But she does her best.

Danielle Levine goes to "alternative high school" because of her Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. But even there she feels like she doesn't really fit in.

When she resolves to make her senior year more fun, and less obsessive, things start to get interesting.

Danielle's story is told through letters, diary entries, and emails, all part of her "me-moir binder." She likes to keep copious notes of the goings-on in her life, which is good for us, the reader, because we really feel like we get to know her.

If you have O.C.D., or if you've ever wondered what someone experiences when they have O.C.D., this might be a great book. Sometimes it's just fun to spend a little while in someone else's life.
