This week is Teen Read Week, an initiative from the American Library Association. During Teen Read Week, the Teen's Top 10 is announced, a book list that teens all over the country vote on.
According to the ALA website "Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in sixteen school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted on Support Teen Literature Day during National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year. Readers ages twelve to eighteen will vote online between Aug. 15 and Sept. 16; the winners will be announced during Teen Read Week."
Here's this year's list:
And just for the fun of it, here my personal top 10 favorite books that I've read in the past 12 months, in no order.
What are some of your recent favorites of the past year?
