Here's just a smattering of the new titles that are coming to the teen section during the next week or so. Judging by their covers, they're going to be great!
All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin
This story is about a girl named Anya Balanchine who lives in New York City and goes to an expensive prep school. Sounds sort of like Gossip Girl right? Did I mention that it takes place in 2083, chocolate is illegal and her family is part of the mafia?
Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick by Joe Schreiber
If you're in search of an action packed story, look no further. Perry's band has a gig in the city, the same night that his parents are forcing him to take their foreign exchange student, Gobi, to the prom. Perry thinks he can do everything, go to the prom, leave early and still get to the gig. Although, by the time he's taken hostage, things are looking too good for him..
Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
This is one of those interesting books where you can't tell if it's taking place looooong into the future or if it's the 1930's. It has an intriguing premise and if you enjoyed the Shiver series by Ms. Stiefvater, then give this one a shot.
Fateful by Claudia Gray
The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic is next April, so prepare yourself for a ton of Titanic novels coming out over the next few months. Fateful tells the story of Tess, an 18 year-old maid, who boards the ship with hopes and dreams. But there are secrets on the ship and whispers of tragedy and loss. Fateful is not quite what you might expect from a Titanic novel, but worth a shot.
