I was a little bit surprised when I went through my old blog posts and noticed that I never reviewed Every Day by David Levithan. It's definitely not like any other book I've personally ever read.
A (yes, this person's name is simply A.) wakes up every morning as a different person. They (yes, they, because sometimes they're male, sometimes they're female.) never know who they might wake up as. The story starts on day 5994 of A's life, so they're sixteen when the story opens.
One day A wakes up as a boy named Justin and falls in love with Justin's girlfriend Rhiannon. From then on, A's only goal to find Rhiannon where ever A wakes up.
The emotions and frustration that A experiences through the story are all so real. I don't think I'll ever again take for granted waking up as me every morning.
I would recommend this book for anyone in high school looking for a unique read.
