According to the American Library Association's (ALA) website "The Michael L. Printz Award is an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature." Take a look at the award winners for 2012!

The award winner is Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley.

The Honorees are Jasper Jones by Craig Silvey, The Returning by Christine Hinwood, The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater and Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler.
