Lucius Wolfe blew his hands off in a chemistry experiment gone horribly wrong. He also blew up his parents house, which of course left them none too happy.
Aurora Belle is going to be starting a new school. She's not sure what to expect, but when she gets on the bus the first day, she feels and instant connection to Lucius.
This is another modern re-telling of Beauty and the Beast. But what makes it different is that it's very much set in the "real world." Lucius is only really a beast because of the disfigurement he caused himself and Aurora is a beauty in the sense that she's a good person, inside and out.
This is not just a fairy tale, this is real life. This is a story that could mostly happen, with characters you want to be friends with.
Recommended for middle and high schoolers and anyone else looking for a little redemption and romance in their reality.
