Cassidy is a
Different kind of girl. Ezra
learns this fact quickly.
Ezra had everything going for him until it all got taken away in one night. Sounds depressing right? It kind of is, but it kind of isn't.
Ezra is one of the golden boys at his high school through his junior year. President of his class, captain of the tennis team, dating the prettiest girl in the school. But then he's in a car accident, it wasn't his fault, he wasn't doing anything wrong, and his dreams are shattered along with his knee.
Unable to play tennis his senior year, or pretty much ever again, he retreats from his former group of friends and finds new ones, or old ones depending on how you look at it.
What I love about this book was the fact that Ezra was an older teen, thinking about college and the future, but that wasn't the only thing the story was about. I would highly recomment this book to older high schoolers, particularly boys, because it's been a long time that I read a young male voice that felt this original.
