Join us every Saturday morning starting on July 14th and continuing through August 11th for some stories and crafts. For ages 3-8. Sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

Highlight of the Month

Register for Summer Book Clubs

Registration begins Tuesday, May 29th.
summer book clubDid you know the children's department has summer book clubs for children entering second grade through twelfth grade? Every child in a group reads the same book and then we meet to talk about it. The library provides all of the books, but registration is required. Register in person, by telephone or online at

Summer book clubs begin the week of July 9th and meet for five weeks. They are scheduled as follows: 
2nd Grade will meet Tuesdays at 1:00pm or Wednesdays at 2:00pm.
3rd and 4th Grade will meet Mondays at 2:00pm, Tuesdays at 2:00pm, or Wednesdays at 2:00pm.
5th and 6th Grade will meet Tuesdays at 2:00pm or Thursdays at 2:00pm.

7th to 9th Grade will meet Tuesdays at 7:00pm or Thursdays at 4:00pm.
10th to 12th Grade will meet Mondays at 7:00pm.
