We are happy to help you locate that new (or old!) book which can become your latest favorite.

Join us on the second Thursday of every month (except August) at 10:00 am in the Meeting Room for some lively book discussion. All are welcome at this informal book club. Light refreshments are served.

Book Lovers’ Circle

Stack of BooksDo you have a passion for reading and books? Come to our Book Lovers’ Circle on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Gallery. You will hear about the latest books at the Library, receive a new reading list and have a chance to share your own favorites, old and new. A great way to expand your literary horizons, meet other readers and have fun! All are welcome and light refreshments served.

The library is pleased to announce the start of a new Evening Book Club. It will meet once a month on Tuesday evenings towards the end of the month.

The Seekers: A Spirituality Book Club

Our new Spirituality Book Group called The Seekers, is not centered on religion, but on what spirituality and wellness means to you. The group will meet the first Wednesday of each month and review a different book on spirituality.


Automatic Holds - New Authors Added!

Have you ever forgotten to put the latest book on hold by a bestselling author and missed one in a series or ended up at Row of Booksthe bottom of a long holds list? Don’t let that happen again - use our Automatic Holds program! Our Readers Advisors have updated our list of 50 popular bestselling authors in the library for a special Holds list. Choose up to 12 authors from this list and we will automatically place holds requests on books by those authors for you. This service is available to any MAIN cardholder but these books must be picked up here at the Morristown & Morris Twp Library. All you need to do is fill out the Automatic Holds form at the Reader's Advisors, Circulation or Reference Desks or fill out the form found below. If you previously filled out an earlier form check out the new one, there may be some authors you’d like to add to your holds profile. Leave the rest of the work to us! Call the Reference or Readers Advisors Desk for more information at 973-538-2592. Holds form now available online by clicking here.
