Hike Morristown Walk & Talk on Improving Customer Relationships

The Hike Morristown group will meet at the Morristown Railroad Station at 6:00 p.m. for a 2-mile walk around town followed at 7:00 p.m. by a presentation at the Morristown and Morris Township Library on Improving Customer Relationships – Effective Ways to Understand Your Customers with Wilma A. Hurwitz, Marketing Communications Consultant.

Securing and keeping customers is a constant process for your business. While you can conduct extensive market research and customer analysis, this presentation will examine some basic motivations and personality factors that can influence how you build and sustain your customer relationships. This informative presentation is taken from key points in Ms. Hurwitz’s customized service excellence training program that has received “rave” reviews from call center managers, customer service representatives and service personnel in healthcare, consumer products and financial services organizations.

What is a customer?

Who are YOUR customers? (the buyers and users of your products and services)

Your customer’s needs/your customer’s wants – these are not the same thing

Some customer personalities – analytical/detail oriented, assertive/demanding, talkative, angry, passive

Ms. Hurwitz is a Montclair-based marketing communications consultant with 10+ years of success helping aggressive, growing firms to improve their business communications, sales, customer service and workplace performance.
