Short & to the point: A booklist

Sometimes you're just looking for a quick read. Or maybe you're in a bit of a reading slump and finding a quick, light book might bust you out of it. Or maybe you're just not that into reading but you HAVE to read a book for a report. Any way you cut it, sometimes you just need a quick read.

So here's a list of books that come in at just about 200 pages. This makes them perfect for reading in a week, or a day, or a few hours if you're a speed reader.  And to go with the theme, quickie reviews of just a phrase or a sentence!

Read this book if you want to cry.

Slice of life, stream of consciousness book in verse about a 15 year-old girl.

Get Well Soon by Julie Halpern (208 pages)
Anna Bloom spends some time in a mental hospital.

The Blood Lie by Shirley Reva Vernick (141 pages)
